Sports Day and Red Nose Day
We are quickly approaching the end of the school year!!!!
On Tuesday 25th June we will be celebrating Sports Day and Red Nose Day. The children can come in clothes of their house colour all day long. Please remember that they will be running and doing sport activities so comfortable clothes and sport shoes are important.
We will be having Sports Day in the morning and in the afternoon to raise money for charity the children will be doing a Red Nose Day readathon. Basically the whole school will read silently for half an hour then they will be doing reading activities afterwards. This is sponsored and the children have already received a letter explaining what to do with regards to the sponsor form.
The children need to bring a book in to read for the readathon. It needs to have enough in it to read for half an hour and it can be in any language, as long as the child understands it!
For the afternoon the children may have their nose painted red with a little bit of face paint. They can either bring it in themselves or I can do it. Please let me know if your child has allergies or skin problems so that I don´t paint them.
We are looking forward to our last week and having a good time. I would like to wish everyone a great Summer and I hope you all have a well deserved rest. xxxx
